Fiscal year 2005-06 Family Tree's benefits package includes:

  • Family Tree's benefits begin first of the month starting the date of hire. All regularly scheduled employees are eligible for benefits. Benefits are pro-rated for part-time employees (employees scheduled to work 20-39 hours per week.)

    Family Tree offers medical insurance from Kaiser Permanente, which includes the option of a HMO plan or a High Deductible Health plan in conjunction with a Health Savings Account. Family Tree offers voluntary dental, vision and term life insurance from Guardian.

    Family Tree also offers, long-term disability insurance, a voluntary tax deferred annuity plan, a flexible spending account, Public Service Credit Union membership, HouseSmart assistance, and a 25% discount at our Treasure Trunk thrift store.

    Vacation and sick pay each accrue 8 hours at the beginning of the month (pro-rated for part-time). All benefited employees earn two personal days (pro-rated for part-time) at the beginning of Family Tree's fiscal year, July 1.
