Arapahoe Kinship/Family Stability Program
The Arapahoe Kinship/Family Stability Program offers information and financial assistance to eligible kinship families in Arapahoe County. When parents are not able or willing to care for their children, many times a relative will assume the responsibility of raising and caring for the children. This task can be overwhelming at times and the family may need extra support. Arapahoe County provides help through this new Family Tree program. Families must be receiving Child-Only TANF in Arapahoe County to be eligible. Case managers visit with families in their homes to make a plan to provide resources and financial assistance to increase family stability. Assistance is available for clothing, beds, custody fees and extracurricular activities.
