July 2006 -June 2007 Accomplishments:
- The Kids Connection Program (supervised parenting-time and safe exchanges) served 590 parents and 392 children. This includes services at Karlis Family Center and at Karlis@Sungate.
- 2,400 supervised visits (2,134 in Lakewood and 266 at Sungate) were facilitated between 426 parents and their 291 children. This is an average of 200 visits per month.
- 2,883 safe exchanges were conducted, an average of 240 exchanges per month, serving 164 parents and 101 children at Karlis Family Center and Karlis@Sungate.
- A total of 1,582 persons obtained direct services from Karlis and Karlis@Sungate.
- Served 452 women and children in domestic violence support groups, individual and group counseling and Time Out for Kids.
- Served 148 parents in Parenting Through Divorce classes.
