About Us


Since 1976, Family Tree has provided a broad range of services and shelter to families and youth of metro Denver to overcome child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness. Last year, Family Tree provided services to more than 43,000 people, including over 24,000 nights of safe shelter to families and individuals who might otherwise be homeless. The mission of Family Tree is to help people overcome child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness to become safe, strong and self-reliant.

CHILDREN'S SERVICES
Family Tree serves children and adolescents who have been abused or neglected and are not safe in their homes; youth who are homeless on the streets or have run away from home. We serve youth who are at risk of being removed from their homes due to behavioral problems.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES
The purpose of Family Tree Domestic Violence Services is to increase the safety and healing of children, parents and individuals from the effects of domestic violence by providing a continuum of support services, education and resources for them and their community.  All services are available in Spanish.

HOMELESSNESS SERVICES
Family Tree serves adult individuals, youth and families who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness. We assist persons who have very low to no incomes and are working toward goals to increase their self-sufficiency.

TREASURE TRUNK THRIFT STORE
Provides clean, gently-used adult and children's clothing, household goods and small appliances for sale to the public and free of charge to Family Tree clients.
