GET HELP GIVE HELP GIVE YOUR TIME LEARN MORE
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
   ~ Ghandi

Family Tree’s mission is to help people overcome child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness to become safe, strong and self-reliant.

When you volunteer with Family Tree, you are directly helping a child, neighbor or friend in your own community. In the 2008-09 fiscal year, Family Tree utilized the talents and energy of 299 individual volunteers and 794 group volunteers. A total of 24,706 volunteer hours were donated! Whether you are looking for a one-time activity, an ongoing project or a group activity . . . Family Tree has a large variety of opportunities for you!

Through volunteering, fund-raising events and earned-income projects, not only is money raised for Family Tree, but also awareness of our mission. Check out the options below for how you can get involved today and make a difference.

Volunteer & Intern Opportunities
Giving generously of one’s time and energy to help those in need transforms our souls. Volunteer as an individual or a group and make a real difference in our community. Volunteering for Family Tree means that you are helping a child, a neighbor, a friend in our own community. Click on the link above, and be ready to experience as much change in your own life as you are making in the lives of others!

Trainings and Workshops
Family Tree has developed a series of interactive trainings and workshops to educate our volunteers, staff and the general public about our program service areas of child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.

Though specifically designed to prepare our volunteers for the work they’ll be doing with us, all of Family Tree’s trainings are open to the public as well. All of our trainings are free for Family Tree volunteers, and there is a nominal fee for the general public.

Please join us in our pursuit of excellence by registering for our interactive, up-to-date workshops. This is an opportunity to glean knowledge from the experts (and input some of your own) on the issues we work with at Family Tree. We recognize the value of your time; yet we promise you will leave these workshops with unbridled enthusiasm to utilize the new ideas and techniques you have learned.

To register for any of our classes, or for more information on them, please contact Family Tree at (303) 422-2133 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
