When you volunteer with Family Tree, you are directly helping a child, neighbor or friend in your own community. In the 2008-09 fiscal year, Family Tree utilized the talents and energy of 299 individual volunteers and 794 group volunteers. A total of 24,706 volunteer hours were donated! Trainings and Workshops
Family Tree has developed a series of interactive trainings and workshops to educate our volunteers, staff and the general public about our program service areas of child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.

Though specifically designed to prepare our volunteers for the work they’ll be doing with us, all of Family Tree’s trainings are open to the public as well. All of our trainings are free for Family Tree volunteers, and there is a nominal fee for the general public.
