The Painted Platter
Family Tree expresses its appreciation to The Painted Platter and Michelle Young for donating their services and supplies for the award platters presented to each of our award recipients, keynote speaker and emcee at Celebration of Achievement.
Michelle Young, owner of Painted Platter, graciously opened up her studio to some of our youth clients across Family Tree programs to create these fabulous pieces. They also created a special piece that was part of our silent auction!
Michelle opened the Painted Platter in March of 2005 and got into the business so she could spend more time with family and friends. She has enjoyed making pottery since she was 9 years old so the idea of owning her own pottery place made perfect sense. Michelle is committed to giving back to the community which is why she got involved with Family Tree.
The Painted Platter provides pre-fired pottery and you take it from there! With the help of their friendly staff, idea books and your imagination, you are on your way to creating a unique, one-of-a-kind masterpiece! Their goal is to bring out the artist in you whether you are 3 or 103. They have hundreds of items to choose from, so maybe you'd like a mug with your child's footprint, a bowl for your cat or dog, a special cake plate for your wedding, or your own designed dinnerware - the sky is the limit!
