POSITION: Case Manager

DIVISION/PROGRAM: Housing and Family Stabilization-Homelessness Services

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in human services related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Previous employment or internship with homeless families and individuals with multiple barriers and individuals desirable. Understanding of the dynamics of homelessness, domestic violence, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders as well as knowledge of community resources is strongly desired. Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:  
This position is responsible for interviewing, assessing and serving individual and family applicants for Family Tree Homelessness Program. Case Managers provide home/field-based case management, advocacy, community linkage, referrals, collaborations and program crisis line activities. 

SCHEDULE:
Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours a week, May include some evenings and weekends.

POSITION: Treasure Trunk Thrift Store Sales Clerk

DIVISION/PROGRAM: Treasure Trunk

POSITION SUMMARY
: Provide assistance to customers, price goods, process merchandise in donation centers (indoor and outdoor), stock shelves and maintain the organization and cleanliness of the store.  Fast paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
: Retail and/or customer service experience preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates a positive attitude.  Has the ability to multi-task. Comfortable dealing with general public. Is respectful to all coworkers, customers, clients and donors. Trustworthy and self motivated.  Believes in Family Tree’s inclusion statement. Some heavy lifting required.  Bilingual preferred.

SCHEDULE:
Part-time, 10-12 hours per week, Wednesday 9:45-6:15 and Thursday 2:00-6:00 pm.

POSITION: Bilingual Case Manager 

DIVISION/PROGRAM: Adams TSF/Child and Youth Services

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in a human service related field plus one year of experience working with multiple issue families and children, low-income and/or families receiving TANF assistance preferred.  Must have strong computer skills; prefer Word, Excel and Access experience.  Prefer knowledge of Adams County and other metro Denver area resources.  Experience in providing services to immigrant Spanish monolingual families is preferred.  Fluency in oral and written English and Spanish is required.  Must be able to work independently in clients’ homes, in the community; able to establish and maintain working relationships with various community providers.  Must have access to acceptable transportation on a daily basis for home visits and various off-site meetings.  Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license, car insurance, and acceptable motor vehicle record.  Must clear background checks with Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Central Registry.

POSITION SUMMARY:
To increase the stability of families receiving Child-Only TANF by providing time-limited case management, including assessment, crisis intervention, referrals to community resources, financial assistance, follow-up, and emotional support.  To track data pertinent to the above activities, the client population, and the impact of the service.

SCHEDULE:
Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week.

POSITION:
Legal Advocate

DIVISION/PROGRAM:
Domestic Violence Services

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Legal Advocate assists victims of domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault with accompaniment to court for civil hearings, staffs protection order clinics at Jefferson County Court House, provides liaison with victim advocacy agencies and the criminal justice system, and provides advocacy for shelter residents and non-residential clients. Must demonstrate a commitment to serving and working with all populations and people. 

QUALIFICATIONS
:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Service, or related field or equivalent training and work experience. Knowledge of domestic violence issues and one year experience working with survivors of domestic violence and the criminal justice system preferred. Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
 

SCHEDULE: Part-time, 20 hours a week.

POSITION: Safe Care Supervisor

DIVISION/PROGRAM: SafeCare/Child and Youth Services

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human service related field required and at least 3 years’ direct service experience with at-risk families required, preferably SafeCare or home visiting for families with young children, or comparable education/experience mix. Demonstrated leadership and management skills required, with one year experience providing supervision to staff preferred.  Must be a collaborative, client-centered and strengths-based leader, with excellent conflict management and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to build positive working relationships with community providers required.  Knowledge of Metro Denver community resources and agencies required. Demonstrated cultural competency skills required, with fluency in Spanish preferred. Computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to become highly proficient in Salesforce. Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license, car insurance, and acceptable motor vehicle record, plus access to reliable transportation on a daily basis for home visits and off-site meetings. Must be comfortable going into homes that may be dirty, dark, lack air conditioning and not handicapped-accessible. Must clear background checks with Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Central Registry.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The SafeCare Supervisor is responsible for multi-county program management, staff supervision, service delivery, and quality assurance for Family Tree’s Safecare program. SafeCare Colorado is an evidence-based, nationally accredited, in-home, parent skills training program designed to prevent and /or reduce child abuse and neglect.

Full-time, 40 hours per week.

POSITION:
Parenting Time Program Assistant

DIVISION/PROGRAM:
Domestic Violence Services

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the over-all administrative needs of the Parenting Time Program. Responsibilities include welcoming clients, data entry, statistical and financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, maintenance of client records/schedules and office/household inventory. Core responsibilities include; oversight of safe exchange service, coordination of application/orientation process, and oversight of monthly program evaluation. Provides administrative support to the Parenting Time Program Director and Parenting Time Program Coordinator. Must demonstrate a commitment to serving and working with all populations and people. 

QUALIFICATIONS
:
Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or high school diploma plus equivalent work experience. Experience providing administrative support in the non-profit sector preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel, Outlook, Access and internet, have strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, pleasant customer service skills over the phone and in person, and the ability to deal with people in crisis. Must maintain confidentiality of client information. Requires an ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of domestic violence issues, high-conflict divorce, child abuse and neglect, and child development a plus.

SCHEDULE:
Tuesday-Friday 1:00-8:30; Saturdays 8:30-6:30
