The Family Tree Executive Team represents a diverse array of life experiences with one very important commonality: a passion for helping those in our community affected by child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness.
Chief Executive Officer
Scott Shields joined Family Tree in 1998 and was named Chief Executive Officer on July 1, 2007. Scott has over 20 years of not-for-profit leadership and management experience, and is responsible for the overall strategy and leadership of Family Tree, its employees and programs.
Chief Financial Officer
Jill Farnham has been connected with Family Tree since 2012, and has over twenty years’ experience in non-profit and government financial leadership. Jill is charged with overseeing the financial operations of the organization, facilities management, and human resources.
Chief Development Officer
Scott Franssen joined Family Tree in 2018 as the Chief Development Officer, and comes to the agency with over 20 years’ of fundraising experience. Scott oversees the Gifts and Community Support team, which is focused on government, foundation, corporate, and individual fundraising, volunteer projects, and the Treasure Trunk Community Thrift Store.
Division Director, Child & Youth Services
Tina joined Family Tree in July 2016, bringing over 20 years of experience in the field of social services and nonprofit management. Tina oversees the Community Family Resource Team, the SafeCare Program, and the Kinship Program.
Division Director, Domestic Violence Services
Deb joined Family Tree in 2013 and has been in the domestic violence field for nearly 20 years. Deb supervises the Roots of Courage program, the Legal Advocacy Program, the Domestic Violence Outreach Program, and the Parenting Time Program.
