Family Tree is dramatically reducing in-person volunteers and interns at this time because of the increased risk to an already vulnerable population. Volunteers and interns perform essential duties and positively impact our programs. During this time, Family Tree will be scheduling online volunteer orientations. Please email Rebekah Hawthorne for more information.

All in-person volunteer shifts and group projects will be cancelled until further notice unless approved by the appropriate Executive Team member.

No one from outside Family Tree will be admitted to residential programs unless absolutely necessary.  Decisions about necessary visitors will be made by the Program Director with appropriate input from the Division Director or another Executive Team leader.

All Family Tree staff are urged to actively implement universal precautions, including washing hands for at least 20 seconds, using alcohol-based sanitizer, avoiding touching your eyes, nose, and mouth, disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, etc.  Additionally, when feasible, allow 6 feet social distancing between persons during meetings and face-to-face interactions.

At this time, the best way to help Family Tree is to make a financial contribution. Additional financial resources allow Family Tree to meet the unique needs of our clients and our team being presented at this time. Monetary contributions will help the organization fill the gaps in funding as they arise. Every dollar contributed to Family Tree makes an impact.
