Qualifications: A self-motivated, critical thinker that understands systems.  Combination of education, experience and expertise relevant to the following subjects:  housing, mental health, survivors of family violence, substance use, households and children with multiple barriers, relevant health and safety regulations, program development, grant administration, budget management, and case management.  Knowledge of residential services, wraparound services, voluntary services, outreach, post-residential support, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing is preferred.  Bilingual language skills, English and Spanish, is preferred.  Staff supervision and support experience is strongly preferred.  A working relationship with local agencies and resources relevant to the Aurora area and experience working in a residential facility for families experiencing homelessness is strongly preferred. Must be a team player with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.   

Summary:  Oversees the day-to-day operations of the 24-hour/7-day/week GOALS program, a residential program for families experiencing homelessness, including the provision of wraparound services with community partners.  This position oversees the outreach and alumni programs, house management, food program, volunteer services, and community relations. Acts as liaison between collaborative partners and GOALS. Provides direct supervision of regular and relief staff. Works with all stakeholders to coordinate inter-related, culturally sensitive services, focused on safety and empowerment for all clients.  Develops infrastructure and systems for this new program and ensures that staff are trained and held accountable.
