POSITION: Program Assistant / Safe Exchange Liaison

DIVISION/PROGRAM: Domestic Violence Services - Parenting Time Program

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for administrative needs of the Parenting Time Program.  Responsibilities include greeting clients, data entry, recording payments to client ledgers, and maintenance of client records/schedules.  Responsible for oversight of the Safe Exchange program including, but not limited to: scheduling and communicating with clients regularly, tracking payments, communicating with Program Coordinators, and suspending/terminating clients as needed. Assist with troubleshooting issues that may arise; such as late/early arrivals, cancellations, no-shows and child refusals. Provide daily summary of visits and exchanges. Provides administrative support to the Parenting Time Program Director, Coordinators, Specialists, volunteers and interns. Schedule is Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday open to close- approximately 34 hours/week.

QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.  One year office work/receptionist experience; proficient with Microsoft office; experience with multiple phone lines; experience with children; and basic bookkeeping skills required; Good oral and written communication skills.  Must be comfortable with confrontation and have strong conflict resolution / de-escalation skills; Must demonstrate a commitment to serving and working with all populations and people. Bi-lingual preferred.
