POSITION: Relief Case Manager

DIVISION/PROGRAM: Housing & Family Stabilization - GOALS program

POSITION SUMMARY: To provide support, structure, crisis intervention, and advocacy for clients in a residential setting using a 2 Generational or multi-generational approach. Assist families in navigating systems and connecting to resources such as parenting education, employment, youth development, education, physical and mental health services. Support a residential community for parents and children that is strengths-based, trauma informed and client centered.  Coverage may include days and evenings. Must demonstrate a commitment to serving and working with diverse groups of people. Services provided in Spanish and English.

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field (or equivalent life experience) and one year experience in Human Services field.  Two years preferred.  Knowledge of residential services for families experiencing homelessness. Must be a team player with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.  CBI check and Central Registry required.

SCHEDULE: Full Time, non-exempt

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires strength to exert force up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 25 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.  Physical demands associated with essential functions include, walking, sitting, climbing, handling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, fingering and/or feeling, talking, hearing, (ordinary conversation), and seeing (near and far acuity, depth perception, field of vision and accommodation).
