Residential Program Director

POSITION:   Residential Program Director, GOALS, Housing & Family Stabilization Services

SUPERVISOR:  Division Director, Housing & Family Stabilization Services

POSITION STATUS: Full-time, exempt

POSITION SUMMARY: The Program director is responsible for supporting a team of Family Navigators and Overnight staff in a 2Gen Residential program for families experiencing homelessness.   They will provide training, accountability and regular check ins for direct reports as well as communicating frequently and promptly with community partners in this collaborative project.   The director is also responsible for administrative duties as a member of the Expanded Leadership Team at Family Tree.        

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or relevant experience with oppressed populations. This person must have excellent critical thinking and communication skills as the position is regularly communicating with multiple stakeholders including staff, residents experiencing complex trauma and community partners that may operate in work cultures that are very different from Family Tree's. This person should be familiar with MS Office Suite, in particular Outlook, Excel, and Teams. They must be comfortable working in a database to track program data and they will receive training specific to the GOALS database. 

1.  Support residential team on site with training and supervision and hold them accountable.
2. Take responsibility for administrative duties including program finance, grant reports and GOALSconnect database issues such as referrals.
3. Maintain regular prompt contact with GOALS community partners.
4. Attend regular finance meetings. 
5. Meet deadlines for Certify expense reports. 
6. Approve timesheets in Paycor timely. 
7. Complete grant reports, TANF billing and CIP data in a timely manner.
8. Ensure that there is an accountability process in place for checking residents in and out of the program to ensure that all program belongings are accounted for. 
9. Be an active and engaged member of the Expanded Leadership Team. This includes regular attendance at ELT meetings.  
10. Actively participate in GOALS project management and program development meetings.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position works on site in a residential program which may require a flexible schedule including availability to staff after hours or on the weekends to respond to crisis calls.
