Family Tree Kinship Programs support and stabilize families who have taken in, and are caring for, a relative’s or non-biological child(ren), and/or for families receiving child-only Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). This program between Adams County Department of Human Services and Denver County Department of Human Services, connects eligible families with community services and financial assistance to help address the challenges of caring for a relative’s child(ren).

Family Tree Kinship Programs provide referrals, case management, and possible financial assistance to help meet the family’s needs and increase stability. Families will receive home-based case management services, and can participate in our legal clinic to address custody and guardianship issues.

The Kinship program also offers virtual support groups in English and Spanish.

Join kinship caregivers in our community to share support, tips and advice or just talk. This is a safe space to vent, cry, laugh, joke and find out how other parents are navigating this new world.
1st & 3rd Thursdays 10AM-11:30AM via WEBEX.
