How Do I Get Started?

Can my family, company or church participate with me?
Absolutely. Family Tree's Holidays of Hope offers a variety of ways to get involved for individuals, social clubs, religious groups, corporations, families and more!
Can I participate in Holidays of Hope in more than one way?
Absolutely. Support Family Tree financially, through Adopt-A-Family, Adopt-A-Program, by hosting a drive, volunteering and/or shopping and/or donating at Family Tree Treasure Trunk.
Do I need to get permission to host a drive?
No, please just share your plans with us so that we can anticipate your gifts and help you coordinate the delivery. Refer to the Wish List for needed items.
Should I wrap the gifts?
No, Family Tree staff encourages all donations to remain unwrapped in order to best meet the needs of our clients.
Can I donate gently used items?
Used donations are accepted at Family Tree Treasure Trunk Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm. Treasure Trunk is located at 5892 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
What if I'm not certain about the program within Family Tree I would like to support?
No problem. We will guide you to the program with the greatest need that best meets your interests.

We encourage all deliveries to be scheduled with us in advance between December 6-16. Deliveries at Family Tree’s Administrative Office/Homelessness Services will be accepted M-F, 9am-4pm.
Please schedule your delivery and request help unloading your car if you need it, in advance! Our address is 3805 Marshall Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
Volunteer Opportunities During the Holidays
You may prepare a meal for residents at House of Hope or Roots of Courage, or volunteer with a group at Treasure Trunk Community Thrift Store. Volunteer activities should be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance and will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
