HOLIDAYS OF HOPE FAQS
Looking for the perfect holiday giving program? Family Tree can create the ideal combination of holiday giving options to meet your needs through Family Tree Holidays of Hope.
How Do I Get Started?
Fill out the Holidays of Hope Questionnaire. For more information, call (303) 422-2133 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can my family, company or church participate with me?
Absolutely. Family Tree's Holidays of Hope offers a variety of ways to get involved for individuals, social clubs, religious groups, corporations, families and more!
Can I participate in Holidays of Hope in more than one way?
Absolutely. Support Family Tree financially, adopt a family, host a drive, donate Thanksgiving food boxes or wish list items, and/or volunteer.
What should a Thanksgiving Tote Bag include?
For small families: One can green beans, cranberries, pumpkin and gravy. One box, stuffing, one 3-pound bag potatoes, one pie crust and one $25 gift card for turkey and perishables. For large families: two of everything above. Placing the items in a reusable tote bag is an added bonus!
Do I need to get permission to host a drive?
No, please just share your plans with us so that we can anticipate your gifts and help you coordinate the delivery. Refer to the Wish List for needed items.
Should I wrap the gifts?
No, Family Tree staff encourages all donations to remain unwrapped in order to best meet the needs of our clients.
Can I donate gently used items?
Used donations are accepted at Family Tree's Treasure Trunk Community Thrift Store Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm. Treasure Trunk is located at 5892 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge.
What if I'm not certain about the program within Family Tree I would like to support?
No problem. We will guide you to the program with the greatest need that best meets your interests.
